Who are The FEDS?

 The FEDS are a FIRST robotics team from Rochester High School, based out of Rochester Hills, MI. Founded in 1998, the team strives to create an incredible experience for students who join and first and foremost, train students in the fields of programming, mecahnical build, electrical build, as well as instill problem solving and teamwork skills.

Our name, FEDS, stands for Falcon Engineering Design Solutions. The mascot of our school is the Falcon, and the EDS comes from one of our early sponsors, Electronic Data Systems. We design and engineer solutions to problems we are faced with. Also, over time, our teams personalilty has evolved to be cool, collected, and calm like a Federal Agent, but also insanely fun.

 The FEDS would not possible without the generous donations from our sponsors GM R&D and AVL. Their kind contributions to our team allow us to function year round. A special thanks to our mentors as well. By donating their time, our team's mentors help students on the team to not only build a robot, but also learn more about the fields they are interested in by giving them hands on experience!
